SD cards with the Standard UHS-II are becoming commonly available. Maybe still a little bit expensive, but you can put UHS-II slots to your new products already now and these ports are fully backward compatible with all the existing SD cards.
These cards have the second row of pins and this interface is supported with Low Voltage Differential Signalling (LVDS) technology and the card thus enables the speed of 156MB/s in Full Duplex (can be switched to 312MB/s in Half Duplex). The most popular size, – micro SD memory cards, are continually improved and have been a major part of both consumer and industrial applications for many years.
We are pleased to offer you one reliable and cost-effective socket for Standard UHS-II from production of Taiwanese manufacturer ATTEND : 112L-TDA0
Some typical applications: • IoT • Embedded computing • Both Industrial and consumer markets
Meanwhile (about a year ago), the SD Card Association has announced a new, much faster standard for SD and micro SD memory cards: UHS-III. Now we have to wait for the regular availability of products.
