HMO is dead, here comes RT...

The RTC1000, RTM 3000, and RTA 4000 with their move completely erase the history of Hameg´s oscilloscopes product line and therefore, we present you the rest of this complete Rohde & Schwarz family. Furthermore, with the possibility to measure serial bus MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429.

R&S presents the RTC1000, RTM3000, and RTA 4000 oscilloscopes officially launched on the market on January 16, 2018. In July of 2015, we published the first ever article on the change of the Hameg brand to Rohde & Schwarz. And now, with this step, they’re removing the HMO product designation and the only living memory of Hameg. From now on, Hameg will only exist in chronicles.

The RTC1000 series replaces the familiar HMO1002 a HMO1202. In addition to replacing, they complement the X functions as specified by the manufacturer himself. Bandwidth will be available from 50MHz to 300MHz. Memory size is 1Msample per channel.

The RTC1000 will be sold in a 2 channel vrersion with 8 digital channels.

Serial Buses for Military Applications and Air Force MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429

The RTM3000 replaces the HMO3000 series. This line will be available in a 2 or 4 channel version with a bandwidth from 100MHz to 1GHz. Memory size 40 Msample per channel. A new addition is also the inclusion of new serial protocols for decoding and triggering, namely the MIL-STD-1553. Serial Bus is a military standard published in the US. At first it was designed for the US Air Force, and the first Fighter aircraft using this standard is the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. Furthermore, ARINC 429 - Aerocutical Radio INC is a technical standard for the data bus for most of the high-end comet and transport aircrafts. RTM 3000 can decode the MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 without any major problems. This can be said about a number of RTA 4000 oscilloscopes.

RTA4000 replaces the RTM2000 Series. In this case, the line will be presented in a 4 channel version with a bandwidth from 200MHz to 1GHz and a memory size of 100 Msample per channel.
