Many of us probably remember, or might even still be using, the popular Rohde & Schwarz HMC8012, a tool well-loved for its versatility and accuracy. The new models in the UDS compact digital multimeter family are built to succeed it, offering a significant boost in functionality and performance enhancements designed to take your daily work to the next level. The R&S UDS500 and UDS600 series: A new standard in precision measurement

• UDS500 (3658.6470.02) – 5½-digit model (200 000 counts) with basic DC accuracy of 0,015 %
• UDS500-G (3658.6470.04) – Shares the same specs (5½-digit, 200 000 counts, 0,015 % DC acc.), but adds a GPIB interface
• UDS600 (3658.6470.03) – 6½-digit high-precision model (2 000 000 counts) with a basic DC accuracy of 0,0075 %
• UDS600-G (3658.6470.05) – Adds the GPIB interface to the 6½-digit flagship model. (2 000 000 counts, 0,0075 % DC acc.)

Every model comes standard with USB and LAN interfaces, making it easy to network the units, handle remote control, or pull data directly into a PC for deeper analysis.

19” rack mounting: a compact and flexible solution for your workplace

For those working with rack systems, the optional HZC95 19” rack mount adapter is a smart addition. It allows you to mount two UDS units side-by-side, which is ideal for organised production or test benches where space is at a premium. Conveniently, this same adapter is compatible with other R&S series, including the NGE100B, NGC100, NPA, UDS and HMC.
