EA uniTFTm Series – Fast HMI Integration Without an External CPU
DISPLAY VISIONS has now introduced an updated, cost-optimised version: the uniTFTm070. It’s an excellent choice for most standalone applications, designed for immediate use without the need for additional peripherals – and it comes with a wide range of built-in graphic features.
Based on the well-known uniTFT070 module, this more affordable version is ready to go straight out of the box. With powerful graphic, logic, and arithmetic functions, integrated I/Os, and built-in graphic drivers, the uniTFTm070 offers a fast and easy entry into the world of smart HMI (human-machine interaction) panels.
uniTFT Designer – fast and simple development tool for Windows
Application development is very straightforward using uniTFT Designer, a free IDE available for Windows. Fonts, images, audio files, and timestamped logs are stored directly in the module’s integrated FLASH memory.
Whether you're working on smart home technology or industrial testing and measuring equipment, the platform makes it easy to create modern applications quickly and efficiently.
Key features of the uniTFTm HMI modules
To support external communication and peripheral control, the uniTFTm series includes:
- 4 analogue inputs
- 16 digital I/Os
- 7 serial interfaces – USB, 2x RS-232, 2x SPI, 2x I²C
The 7" full-colour IPS display delivers a crisp, high-resolution image at 1 024 × 600 pixels, maintaining image clarity from any angle. With a brightness of up to 1 000 cd/m², it remains easy to read even in direct sunlight.
Currently available uniTFTm modules:
- EA uniTFTm070-ATC – 7,0" smart display module, 1 024 × 600, PCAP touch
- EA uniTFTm070-BTC – same as the “ATC” version, but with two red MicroMatch connectors for PCB mounting and/or compatibility with the EA uniTFT070
