General-purpose digital isolators with varying input and output counts and specialised isolators for CAN, RS-485, and I2C interfaces.
Digital isolators use the On-Off Keying (OOK) modulation scheme to transmit digital data across a silicon dioxide isolation barrier. When the input is in the H state, the transmitter sends a high-frequency carrier across the barrier, and when the input is in the L state, no signal is transmitted. The receiver demodulates the signal after advanced signal conditioning and produces the output.
