SSD in formats M.2 2242, M.2 2280 with SATA and PCIe interface, 2.5" and mSATA with SATA interface available with or without DRAM cache and for a working temperature range of 0... + 85 °C or - 40... + 85 °C. ADATA manufactures SSDs based on SLC, MLC and TLC NAND flash memories. We have included in our offer only SSDs using BiCS5 112-layer flash chips, which are currently becoming the de facto new industry standard.
Depending on the type, an SSD can be supplied with:
- with PLP (Power Loss Protection). These SSDs contain tantalum polymer capacitors that serve as a backup source for the time required to write data from the DRAM cache to flash memories.
with A+ SLC, i.e. with modified firmware that only writes one bit instead of three to TLC NAND flash, which leads to the increase of the number of program/erase cycles from 3000 to 30,000.
with A+ OPAL. These SSDs are fully compatible with the TCG OPAL 2.0 specification, they provide HW encryption with an AES 256-bit key and enable immediate data inaccessibility by destroying the AES key.
ADATA provides A+ SSDTOOL monitoring tool that displays the information about the drive, remaining life, SMART attributes and system information. It allows you to start a security wipe, set the minimum and maximum temperature, the remaining disk capacity and the remaining lifetime at which an email is sent to a predefined address. Read more
