Based on proved 16-bit x86 DSTni-EX with up to 120MHz CPU frequency from Lantronix, the xPico110 enables ETH connection for any UART based communication device, such as industrial machines, medical devices, PLCs etc.
Application firmware is simplified with a completely offloaded hardened TCP/IP network stack, robust connectivity software and flexible configuration interfaces without writing a single line of code. In addition, customer proven TruPort® Serial technology supports reliable and transparent transmission of hundreds of standard field bus protocols such as Modbus as well as proprietary serial protocols.
Engineers can integrate PoE or utilize different Ethernet connector types in their designs, integrated PHY and an extended operating temperature range simplify design integration with xPico110 even in harsh environments. Internal memory of 384kB is dedicated for customised web pages, which could be accessed using a standard browser.
The main difference between the xPico and xPico110 is the form factor. xPico110 is very suitable for machine assembly process, which was impossible with the standard xPico. All software features are compatible with the previous versions, which make transition to the new xPico 110 painless and fast.
