Electric power transmission lines are built all over the world. The first major grid with a voltage of 110kV was created in Germany. In 1926 they installed the first overhead lines with a voltage of 220 kV. Technicians were concentrated on a network of high-voltage because the losses in electricity transmission are lower than in a network of low voltage.
